Assembly automation using collaborative robots!
We are developing a collaborative robot, also known as a cobot (collaborating robot), to enable the (partial) automation of the assembly of driving discs.
This cobot will work side by side with our employees and support them in the assembly of driving discs.
By using a cobot, we want to relieve our employees of physically demanding and non-ergonomic tasks.
This allows them to utilise their skills for more demanding tasks.
Our annual production of many kilometres of chain and thousands of driving discs shows the extent of our commitment to efficiency and quality.
By (partially) automating this process, we are not only aiming for cost savings, but also an increase in product quality.
By delegating simple, monotonous and repetitive tasks to the cobot, we can increase efficiency and improve working conditions for our employees.
